Layout a weekly 10-16 page print newspaper using InDesign 6.5 or QuarkXPress

Ensure accurate caption information, using AP Style, and appropriate keywords in all submitted imagery

Color correct and process imagery for print and online (including Facebook, Flickr,, and others)

Conceptualize photo illustrations for abstract stories

Suggest story and photo ideas that focus on the community we cover

Find and use Department of Defense stock images to illustrate stories

Organize files on shared server and prepare files for archiving and easy access

Design and layout special inserts and double trucks for print paper

Train other staff members to use camera equipment, photo related software and layout software
